SKILLS For Kids, Teens & young adults
We SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Does your family face these challenges?
Autism, anxiety and other social factors can make life feel hard for your child and parents deserve some extra support. We're here to help children and parents. We run social skills training courses for children with Autism/ASD that have helped thousands of children all over the world.
“You are passionate about supporting, encouraging and growing the kids you’re working with.
I’m so glad we’ve found you!”
– Sally J., Mum of 9 y.o daughter, near Melbourne.
“Thank you for all your care and support with our son. We are so impressed and grateful for this program. Not to mention the skills he is using daily from it!”
-
Irene – Delighted Mum of primary
school son in Sydney.
NDIS funding can be used if your family are self-managed or plan-managed.
We've set things up so that your child doesn't have to miss out on school and you don't have to deal with midday appointments.
Instead, all sessions are at after-school times in the afternoons or evenings because your child needs routine.
We can help that just by scheduling sessions conveniently for you.
Your child needs to learn asap.
We have many, many groups and we would rather add more groups than have a waiting list.
Every week your child is not learning new skills is a wasted week.
We'll do everything we can so your child can start in our next course.
We train your child or teen with step-by-step strategies to develop social skills, social awareness and self-monitoring strategies. Improving your child’s skills allows your child with ASD to grow their confidence and success in social situations.
Learn to interpret what others are thinking by reading their words, voice and facial expressions.
Improve skills with friendships, team work & conversations.
We believe parents deserve evidence-based programs for their children with Autism. Our programs are proven, road-tested and based on quality research and evidence. Step-by-step social skills training can lead to lifelong improvements in your child’s well-being. Your child deserves to have the very best programs to learn new skills in effective ways.
“You are passionate about supporting, encouraging and growing the kids you’re working with.

life happens. lockdowns happen. we continue.
We help families from all around Australia. And with the help of Zoom, we can all meet with you at times convenient for your family.
Learn Face-To-Face Or At Home
Most of our courses can be done from home via Zoom rooms to create the interpersonal interactions that are normally achieved face-to-face. Using these virtual meetings, not even Covid shutdowns can shut down your child’s learning. ASD learning continues on Zoom, which is the way it should be.
Australia wide on zoom
It can be tough to find help in Australia for your child/teen/young adult with Autism. The demand for support here is so much greater than what is available. ASD is something to get help for sooner than later. Long wait-times mean that your child’s peers move ahead socially, but your child can be left using the same skills that are not currently working for them. We do all we can to keep waiting times and waiting lists short for your child, because we know that the sooner your child starts learning new strategies, the sooner they can experience better social success.
AUTISM HELP IN CANBERRA
It’s no secret that Canberra needs more support for children who have ASD. The World-renowned Secret Agent Society training course can be a big help for children with who need a skills upgrade. The course covers ASD-relevant strategies including:
Strategies to help read social cues - things like eye contact, tone in others' voices and body language.
Improving self-talk strategies that enable your child to think realistically and optimistically.
When children don’t know how to maintain friendships or how to build relationships with their peers, it can really hurt their self-confidence and self-esteem. No parent wants to see their child lonely on the school playground. We teach skills and strategies that can help your child know how to interact well with their peers so that over time they can begin to build and maintain friendships.

Your child with ASD may have difficulty reading social cues and find it tricky to interact with others. It’s also possible that other children feel slightly awkward when interacting with your child due to their unique ways of interacting with others. That’s where deliberate, well-planned training of specific social skills can make a huge difference for your child with Autism. The great news is that these skills can be taught to children. Remember, we help children in Canberra, and Australia-Wide.

Let’s get your child started on a journey towards learning new social skills, making better friendships and enjoying their school experience more.
