We SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Helping Children & Young People With Autism

Also Helping Any Young Person Who Wants To Grow Their Social Skills

Does your family face these challenges?

  • Does your young person struggle to make friends, feel ignored by others at school and miss out on invitations to parties?
  • Does your family have to deal with tantrums, outbursts and anxious dramas when your child doesn't get their way?
  • Is your child likely to throw a tantrum at home or school because they don't know how to say what they need?
  • Does your teen get too close, too loud around others or find themselves in socially awkward moments that make it hard to keep friends?
  • Do you often feel stressed out, overwhelmed and like a bit of a failure as a parent?

Autism, anxiety and other social factors can make life feel hard for your child and parents deserve some extra support.  We're here to help children and parents. We run social skills training courses for children with Autism/ASD that have helped thousands of children all over the world.

AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS

Don't miss out on school.

We've set things up so that your child doesn't have to miss out on school and you don't have to deal with midday appointments.

Instead, all sessions are at after-school times in the afternoons or evenings because your child needs routine.

We can help that just by scheduling sessions conveniently for you.

NO WAITING LISTS!

You hate waiting lists and so do we!

Your child needs to learn asap.

We have many, many groups and we would rather add more groups than have a waiting list.

Every week your child is not learning new skills is a wasted week.

We'll do everything we can so your child can start in our next course.

Help For Children, Teens & Adults Autism

It can be tough to find help in Australia for your child/teen/young adult with Autism. The demand for support here is so much greater than what is available. ASD is something to get help for sooner than later.  Long wait-times mean that your child’s peers move ahead socially, but your child can be left using the same skills that are not currently working for them. We do all we can to keep waiting times and waiting lists short for your child, because we know that the sooner your child starts learning new strategies, the sooner they can experience better social success.

Strategies To Help Your Child Build Friendships

When children don’t know how to maintain friendships or how to build relationships with their peers, it can really hurt their self-confidence and self-esteem. No parent wants to see their child lonely on the school playground. We teach skills and strategies that can help your child know how to interact well with their peers so that over time they can begin to build and maintain friendships.

LEARN MORE ➜

Social Skills Can Be Learned. Don’t Give Up!

Your child with ASD may have difficulty reading social cues and find it tricky to interact with others. It’s also possible that other children feel slightly awkward when interacting with your child due to their unique ways of interacting with others. That’s where deliberate, well-planned training of specific social skills can make a huge difference for your child with Autism. The great news is that these skills can be taught to children. Remember, we help children in Canberra, and Australia-Wide.
